The AC motor, with its high rpm limit, can be used without a conventional transmission for shift-free driving by coupling it to a single speed gearbox. The Azure Dynamics/Solectria AT1200 gearbox with integrated differential is designed to be used with the AC24 and AC24LS motors in compact front wheel drive vehicles..

We can supply a pair of halfshafts with inner CV joints to fit the AT1200. The conversion builder would then take these to an axle shop to have them cut to size and fitted with the appropriate outer CV joints for the chassis. Contact us if you need assistance with this.
